Barrels and Chocolate Weekend at Bale Breaker Brewing Company

2/15/2020 - 2/16/2019

Location: Yakima
1801 Birchfield Rd, Yakima, WA 98901

12 p.m.-9 p.m. If you're more of a beer and chocolate kind of person instead of a wine and chocolate kind of person, spend Valentine's weekend at Bale Breaker. We're releasing two new barrel-aged bottled beers on Friday, February 14th, at our Valentine's Day Bottle Release. We'll be serving these beers all weekend, and will have chocolate available to sweeten the deal.

Barrel-aged Beer Releases:

Wood & Wire Imperial Stout

Not for the faint of heart: coffee, dark chocolate, smoke, bourbon, and vanilla with a full body. Utilizes 10 different malt varieties for complexity, then balances the beast with Simcoe, Palisade, and Ahtanum hops. Took home bronze twice at the WA Beer Awards. 10.3% ABV | 71 IBU | Aged 3 months in Jameson Whiskey Barrels

Exquis Belgian Blonde Ale

In French, exquis means "delicious" or "exquisite." Aged in Yakima Valley wine barrels with Brettanomyces claussenii wild yeast before bottle conditioning. Crisp lemon-like acidity with aromas of champagne, grapefruit, pineapple, and gosberry.

$15 to go; $20 to open in the taproom. We'll also have Wood & Wire on tap - $5 for 10 oz.
